San Antonio De Esquipulas Y Anexo was born out of a dream in 1965 by Francisco Ovalle Mendez. Over time, his son Jorge Ovalle inherited his love and passion for coffee and seeking the highest quality with the least amount of environmental impact. Aiming to maintain their ecosystem, he eliminated all use of pesticides and seeks to avoid practices that cause soil degradation.

"We believe that a cup of coffee is not only to enjoy with family, friends or at work, but also that it has social and economic impact for the world, being a source of work and passion."- Jorge Sergio Tulio Ovalle

This coffee is packed with nuance and complexity. We purchased the entirety of this beautiful micro lot. It's reminding us of orange, cherry, and wildflower honey. It has a beautiful balance of sweetness, acidity, and body.
