Dozens of families grow their own coffee in the Tolajuk Village. Most farmers here grow just a few hectares of coffee and each year they bring their harvest together to make this community coffee possible. It is then sorted several times and processed as an anaerobic red honey.
The result is a very nice Indonesian coffee that reminds us of dried fruit, berries, and a few different teas. It's been three years since we first started partnering with Desa Tolajuk and Sisola Coffee, who helps move the coffee to our roastery from Indonesia, and we look forward to it every year!
