A big, sweet caturra produced by Jose Lasso from Colombia, Huila. Jose and his son Adrian have been looking for ways to highlight sweetness in the cup, and we feel like they've nailed it with this caturra. This coffee gets picked, undergoes a "cherry ferment" in cool water for 2 days, gets depulped, and lastly gets fermented for 36hrs before being fully washed twice.
As mentioned above, this coffee has big sweetness. It's reminding us of vanilla, pear, plum, and almond roca. The clear flavor profile and fruit qualities coming through got us hooked on this coffee.
